Hi! I'm Linda
I Help Women Make Getting Dressed Easier.
If you have a closet full of clothes but never seem to have the right clothes, I know exactly how frustrating that can be.
You may have clothes for work, weekends, dinners, errands, and everything in between. But somehow, you still stand in front of your closet thinking, “What am I supposed to wear?”
You want to look polished and pulled together without looking overdressed. You want to be comfortable without feeling like a slob. You want clothes that work for your actual life—not some imaginary version of it.
And you’ve probably tried to fix it.
Maybe you've purged your closet. Bought the “right” basics. Followed a capsule wardrobe. Tried a shopping ban. Bought something because someone told you it was a must-have.
And somehow, you’re still struggling to get dressed.
I get it. I’ve been there.
I Used to Follow All the Advice, Too.
I have a degree in fashion merchandising and a certificate in image consulting, so you’d think I would have no trouble getting dressed.
But I still struggled almost every day...
I still felt like I wasn't dressed right...
So, I started reading wardrobe management and image consulting book I could get my hands on. I studied the formulas, the rules, the “must-haves,” and the lists of clothes every woman supposedly needed.
Then I bought them.
And I barely wore any of them.
The clothes looked good on paper, but they weren't my style. They didn't fit my lifestyle. And they certainly didn't make getting dressed any easier.
I also misdiagnosed my best colors and spent years wearing colors that weren't as flattering as they could have been.
And then there was my body. I have a curvy figure, which isn't inherently difficult to dress—but it can be when you're trying to follow generic advice that doesn't account for your body, your preferences, or the way you actually live.
I had plenty of knowledge.
What I didn't have was a wardrobe that made sense for me.
I decided to take all the advice that wasn't working and put it aside.
Instead, I did something much more useful.
I took a deep dive into my actual life, my actual preferences, and the types of clothes I actually wanted to wear.
I looked at what worked.
What didn't.
What I kept reaching for.
What I kept buying and never wearing.
And yes, I did plenty of closet purges along the way.
I've thrown my entire wardrobe on the bed and gone through it piece by piece. More than once.
And here's what I discovered:
Even after getting rid of a ton of clothes, I still didn't like what was left.
That was the lightbulb moment.
The problem wasn't simply that I had too many clothes.
I had never intentionally built a wardrobe. I had accumulated one.
Eventually, I Stopped Following the Rules.
That Changed Everything.
Once I understood that, I stopped looking for the next perfect list, rule, challenge, or shopping strategy.
I started looking at the wardrobe as a whole.
Because a wardrobe isn't a pile of individual clothes.
It's a collection of things that need to work together and support the life you're actually living.
That's the approach behind Closet Cures.
I help women figure out what their wardrobe actually needs, what belongs in it, what doesn't, what they're missing, and how to make better decisions about what they buy.
Not so you can have fewer clothes.
Not so you can have more clothes.
So you can have the right clothes for you!
You don't need to become a fashionista.
You don't need a designer wardrobe.
You don't need to dress up every day.
And you definitely don't need another closet challenge.
You need a wardrobe that makes sense for you.
Your work.
Your weekends.
Your body.
Your preferences.
Your lifestyle.
Your life right now.
Because when your wardrobe works by design, getting dressed takes less thought, less time, and a whole lot less frustration.
That's what I want for you.
Welcome to Closet Cures.
I'm Linda. And I'm here to help you make getting dressed easier.
